Iron Rain

Iron Rain

At one hot, faraway world,
a tiny new moon,
moving quickly across the sky,
roughly the size of a car.
At one hot, faraway world
it’s always daytime on the day side,
with clear skies.
At one hot, faraway world
it’s always nighttime on the night side,
always cloudy with a chance of rain.
At one hot, faraway world,
like droplets of metal falling from the sky,
it rains iron on the night side.
