Your absence
left a tear
in my fabric.
Do not do that again
if you want your story to be heard.
Do you think
my job is easy?
Do you think
others can weave a tale
as beautiful as mine?
Your story is interesting
and worth my time,
But it is my masonry
that keeps everything together.
