You knew the rains would come,
so why these tears?
They always dismantle the wheel
after the fair.
The clowns leave
and the singing stops.
After that, people stay inside.
Rivers become foul and muddy.
Nights never end.
This is old news.
The snakes have left
And the leaves are all dead by now.
So, why these tears?
You know this happens every year.
